This can be considered a matter of urgency for candidates who registered for the 2024 JAMB Examination with awaiting O’level results. Once the result has been released, whether it’s WAEC, NECO, or GCE, you should immediately upload that result on your JAMB CAPS, to ensure that you stand a chance of getting admitted with other candidates for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Important Note: It is important to know that you MUST visit an accredited centre for them to upload your O’level result for you. You can no longer do this yourself, to avoid any mistake that may cost you admission in the 2024/2025 academic session.

How to Check If Your O’level Result is on JAMB CAPS.

STEP 1: Visit the JAMB e-facility portal at https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility and login.

STEP 2: You will need to type in your JAMB registered Email and Password in the blank boxes as shown in the image above.


STEP 3: After you’ve successfully logged in. Proceed and Select your examination year.

STEP 4: Next, search for the purple box that reads ‘Check Admission Status’ tab and click on it. As shown in the image above.


STEP 5: When it loads up, Tap on the ‘Access my CAPS’ button.


STEP 6: Tap on ‘My O’level result’ to view and confirm whether its upload was successful or not.


IMPORTANT NOTE: If you check on your O’level result and it’s showing No result, then you need to take immediate action, to ensure you get admitted for the 2024/2025 academic session. This is mainly because any aspirant whose SSCE result is not on JAMB CAPS, and registered with the Awaiting Result (AR) option, will not be considered for admission till the results have been successfully uploaded on the JAMB CAPS portal.

How to Upload O’level Result on JAMB CAPS Portal.

Due to the fact that most candidates will sit for the JAMB examination and WAEC/NECO exam the same year, and mostly, during JAMB registration, the O’level result is not yet released. The JAMB board has introduced some flexibility in this area of result upload.

If your O’level result is yet to be released during your JAMB registration process, you can still upload the results after the JAMB examination result has been released. However, you should immediately upload the result once it has been released.
